Benny Boy Farm is named after Whitney's senior black lab, who keeps the chickens safe and in good company.
Whitney, a farmer for over two decades, focuses on food equity, access, and community-based distribution while getting food from the farm to your table.

Jacob, a metal fabricator, brings invaluable skills in creating infrastructure and systems to make the farm work well.

We live in the Potluck Farm Community in Rougemont, North Carolina, and strive to support our neighbors and the land that supports us.
ABOUT THE CHICKENS
Our neighbor, Mary Bennet, swears by Freedom Rangers for their superior taste due to higher Omega 3 fat content. Raised on our pasture with GMO-Free feed from Bender Farms, our chickens offer rich, succulent meat and golden stock. Despite longer growth time, we believe it's worth it. We prioritize quality over profit, aiming to provide excellent protein at a reasonable cost. Processing occurs periodically, and participation is optional for purchasing Benny Boy Farm products.
